Accellos updates Workspace

   Accellos, a provider of supply chain software, has launched an updated version of its AccellosOne Workspace, an application that serves as the foundation for existing and upcoming products from Accellos.
   Chad Collins, Accellos’ chief marketing officer, said Workspace was created with Microsoft technology and designed to answer three customer concerns:

• Make software simple and easy to use.
• Allow companies to provide access to any employee, partner, or customer both internally and externally.
• Minimize IT requirements and needed resources to manage the system.

   Collins said the updated framework now allows companies to embed video to create a training center, define as many field extensions as they like, integrate report management and distribution with products, and see better application performance. Accellos also updated the platform to provide better application support, create a software development kit for clients, and introduce portal enhancements.
   Workspace is “designed to look and act like a Microsoft Office application – only available through your browser,” said Ross Elliott, Accellos’ chief technology officer.
