The company said that its vessel “California Highway” has sailed from Newark, New Jersey, with a shipment of personal automobiles, light trucks and construction vehicles for Tema, Ghana; Lagos, Nigeria; and Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
ACLN now provides direct transport from the East Coast of the U.S. to West Africa via specialized car carriers. Service will also be provided from Baltimore and Jacksonville, the company said.
ACLN is quoted on the Nasdaq stock exchange in the U.S.
