ACP’s Alem?n Zubieta accepts communications award

ACPÆs Alemßn Zubieta accepts communications award Alberto Alem'n Zubieta, Panama Canal Authority administrator and chief executive officer, accepted the Best Communications Strategy award at the fifth annual PODER-Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Business Awards Friday.
   The award was presented in recognition for ACP's campaign to have Panamanian voters approve the expansion of the Panama Canal.
   “I am greatly humbled by this award and accept it on behalf of all Panamanians and the many hard-working employees of the canal,' Alem'n Zubieta said at the ceremony, held at the Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium. 'The referendum voter education campaign was a participative process and a real exercise of democracy. It was a historic decision that will impact world commerce and will make Panama the most important logistics hub of the Americas.'
