Adrion will join Michael Behrendt, chairman of CP Ships and Hapag-Lloyd, as a divisional director covering shipping on the board.
“The renewed increase in the importance of shipping due to the successful takeover of CP Ships will be reflected by the appointment of a second divisional director,” said Michael Frenzel, TUI’s CEO.
At the same time, Christoph R. M'ller (Flight Operations) and Karl J. Pojer (Hotels & Resorts) were also added to TUI’s executive board.
