Aer Lingus contracts with Menzies for cargo handling at U.S. airports

U.K.-based Menzies Aviation has won a contract to provide cargo-handling services to Aer Lingus at all seven of the U.S. airports served by the airline, including JFK International.

Financial details of the contract, which also includes cargo handling at Prague's Ruzyne Airport, were not released.

The Irish Aer Lingus already contracts with London-based Menzies for cargo handling services at London Heathrow.

Besides New York's JFK, the new contract will cover the international airports in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Orlando and Boston. The Washington, San Francisco and Orlando routes are new to Aer Lingus and begin in late-September and late-October.
