AFS and CHD partner on supply chain visibility

AFS Technologies, a provider of trade management and compliance solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with CHD North America, LLC, a company that specializes in collecting, managing and analyzing data for the away-from-home global food service market.
The new partnership will allow AFS to expand its services into the food service channels in North America and Europe, the company said.
AFS Chief Executive Officer Kurien Jacob said the company “is focused on connecting manufacturers, brokers, distributors, and operators to improve channel visibility for all related partners.”
He said the partnership should allow manufacturers to address two major challenges: identification of multi-dip payments and sales void opportunities.
CHD said that the combination of these two systems will allow the software to collect and manage data from disparate sources among manufacturers, distributors, and operators, combining it and presenting it in an easy to understand and use application.
Manufacturers will benefit from the option to identify multi-dip payments, requested payments outside of deal window, and address other related compliance issues.
“Research and resolution of these issues typically takes dozens of man-hours,” said Tim Vollman, head of partnerships at AFS. “And now users will have the visibility at their fingertips.”
