Agility focused on eight-by-eight target    Executives from Agility, the new name for Kuwait’s PWC Logistics, said the company remains on course to achieve its ambition of becoming a top-eight global logistics firm with revenue of $8 billion by 2008.
   The company Monday launched its new single brand name, which will absorb by 2008 its subsidiaries such as GeoLogistics, TransOceanic and Trans-Link.
   PWC’s profits have soared since 2002 thanks in part to a number of lucrative U.S. Defense Department renewal contracts to support military activities in Iraq and the Gulf region.
   Chris Price, chief executive officer U.K. and Ireland told Shipper’s NewsWire that even if U.S. troops pulled out of Iraq, the company’s target would not be affected as government contracts are only one part of its business, along with project logistics and fairs and events logistics.
   Price added that the company would achieve its plans to almost double its revenue by 2008 through a mixture of organic growth and carefully selected acquisitions.
