Agility names Robinson U.S. COO

Agility names Robinson U.S. COO Agility said Monday it has named Michael Robinson as its new chief operating officer for the company’s U.S.-based Global Integrated Logistics business group.
   Robinson joins Agility from Schenker U.S., where he was senior vice president for the western United States. He reports directly to Mike Bible, chief executive officer of the Americas Region, Agility GIL.
   Robinson was previously responsible for eight western U.S. branch office locations and 250 employees at Schenker Stinnes Logistics. Prior to Schenker, Robinson was vice president of ocean, for Kintetsu World Express, where he was responsible for the company’s U.S. ocean product and established an ocean subsidiary, Kintetsu Intermodal.
   He will be based in Agility’s U.S. regional office in Santa Ana, Calif.
