Agility sets up China/Lithuania air service    Global logistics provider Agility said it has chartered a freighter with 107 tons of capacity for a weekly air service connecting cities in China to Kaunas, Lithuania.
   The route is designed to speed shipments by one to four days for customers in northern Europe, the Baltics and western Russia that don't have many air freight options, it said.
   Agility will offer turnkey logistics services, including pickup and warehousing in China, customs clearance in Kaunas and warehousing in Lithuania. Together with Hoptrans, its partner in Lithuania, Agility provides freight forwarding overland from Kaunas to a wide range of onward destinations including all major cities in the region. At the destination, customer options will include customs clearance, warehousing in bonded and non-bonded facilities. With a departure on Saturday morning from Shanghai and customs cutoff on Friday morning, the new service allows customers to load their cargo for delivery over the weekend, with many destinations receiving cargo on Monday.
   Agility's Air Freight Expedited and Premier services are being offered for the first time to Baltic states, Hungary, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.
