AGOTC TO HOLD ANNUAL MEETING JUNE 14-15
The Agriculture Ocean Transportation Coalition will hold its annual meeting in San Francisco on June 14-15.
A shippers-only dinner is scheduled for the evening of June 14, with the all-day meeting open to shippers, carriers, ports and intermediaries on June 15. The AgOTC is one of the largest annual gatherings of agricultural transportation executives in the industry.
Confirmed speakers for this year’s meeting include FMC Commissioner John Moran and Al Pierce, managing director of the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement. Other executives will cover topics on agricultural ocean transport trends and contract negotiations, the methyl bromide crisis, port congestion, truck weight limits, Harbor Maintenance Tax refunds, and wood-packing requirements.
