The airline said its load factor fell 2.5 percent from July 2011 to 61.6 percent, and that its revenue (as measured in available ton-kilometers) was lower than in July 2011 when removing the impact of currency fluctuation.
Air France KLM saw drops in volume for all geographic regions, but none more pronounced than in its home region of Europe (excluding France), where volume dropped 26.4 percent. In the Americas, volume receded 3.9 percent.
Year-to-date, the airline’s air freight volume has fallen 6.3 percent, while capacity has fallen 2.3 percent.
