AIRBORNE CFO LILJEBECK RETIRES
Roy Liljebeck, a 33-year veteran of Airborne Express, will retire as the company’s chief financial officer next month.
Lanny Michael, senior vice president and treasurer, has been named acting CFO and will take over Liljebeck’s position full-time pending approval of the board.
“The countless contributions Roy has made over the past three decades have helped solidify Airborne’s position in the marketplace. His involvement with and commitment to the success of Airborne is rare, and although he will be greatly missed, we wish him the very best,” said Bob Kline, Airborne’s chairman and chief executive.
