AIRBORNE EXPRESS WINS COSTCO CONTRACT

AIRBORNE EXPRESS WINS COSTCO CONTRACT    Costco Wholesale Corp. has chosen Airborne Express to provide ground delivery service throughout the United States.
   This $20 million per-year, multi-year contract adds to Airborne’s 16-year relationship with Costco. Costco will use Airborne’s Ground Delivery Service primarily for the return of merchandise from any of its 284 warehouse stores to hundreds of vendors nationwide. Costco also uses Airborne’s Overnight Express, 10:30 Guaranteed, Next Afternoon and Second Day Service, as well as International Express and Flight-Ready prepaid express packages.
   Costco Wholesale Corp. operates an international chain of 385 membership warehouses, mainly under the “Costco Wholesale” name, including 284 in the United States, and other locations in Canada, Mexico, and Asia.
   Airborne and its subsidiaries serve the shipping needs of business customers worldwide in over 200 countries.
