AirBridgeCargo experiences tonnage increase

Cargo volumes have gone up for the Russian carrier when compared to the same period in 2013.

   Through the first nine months of the year, Russian carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines has seen a 14 percent increase, year-over-year, in cargo tonnage.
   As of the end of September, the airline carried 290,735 tons to destinations in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
   This winter, ABC will add frequencies to Chicago, Dallas, Amsterdam, Milan, Munich, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
   “We are not immune from the downturn in international economies. However, this has challenged us to focus even more on developing and implementing new business opportunities and solutions that have given us a platform for growth,” Denis Ilin, executive president of ABC, said in a statement.
