AirBridgeCargo reports strong growth in 2015

The Moscow, Russia-based cargo airline handed 439,000 tons of cargo during the first 11 months of 2015, a 20 percent year-over-year increase.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines transported over 50,000 tons of cargo in November across its global network, a 27 percent increase year-over-year.
During the first 11 months of 2015, the cargo airline carried 439,000 tons of cargo, a 20 percent increase from the corresponding period in 2014.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines attributed its growth in 2015 to the addition of more prime cargo routes, greater connectivity across its network and the introduction of additional frequencies on existing routes.
The airline now offers customers over 600 weekly connections with 48 hour delivery time for any published scheduled hub connection.
In November, AirBridgeCargo Airlines took delivery of two new Boeing 747-8 Freighters. The airline now operates with a fleet of eight 747-8 Freighters, five 747-400 Extended Range Freighters and two 747-400 Freighters.
In 2016, AirBridgeCargo Airlines plans to invest more in freighters and introduce additional frequencies on major markets.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines, which is part of Volga-Dnepr Group, provides airfreight services that link Asia, Europe and North America.
