AirBridgeCargo volumes rise 17%

The Russian cargo airline has handled 300,000 tons of cargo in the first eight months of 2015, a 17 percent increase compared with the same period last year.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines posted a year-over-year tonnage increase of 17 percent for the first eight months of 2015, in which it transported 300,000 tons of cargo across its global network.
The Russian cargo airline attributed its stable load factor of 67 percent for the first eight months of 2015 and its year-over-year increase in freight ton-kilometers by 22 percent to its expansion strategy of entering new markets.
Traffic in August alone increased 14 percent from the same month last year to over 39,000 tons.
In 2015 to date, AirBridgeCargo Airlines has appointed regional sales managers and executives in Italy, Finland, Germany, Hanoi, the United States and Singapore; strengthened its customer service and revenue capacity control teams regionally and globally; centralized key account management; and increased its number of personnel at its Moscow Sheremetyevo hub.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines, which is part of Volga-Dnepr Group, provides airfreight services that link Asia, Europe and North America.
