Airforwarders Association joins CNS Advisory Board
Cargo Network Services, the U.S. cargo subsidiary of the International Air Transport Association, has named the Airforwarders Association to its advisory board.
CNS said the Airforwarders Association was added to the board to ensure that small and mid-size freight forwarders and logistics providers are adequately represented.
“IATA’s recent statements in opposition to 100 percent screening have been well-received within our industry, and we are looking forward to representing the interests of all air forwarders in preserving a risk-based approach to cargo security worldwide,” said Brandon Fried, executive director of the Airforwarders Association, in a statement.
Fried will serve as the association’s appointee on the CNS Advisory Board.
