Alexander & Baldwin buys two warehouses
A&B Properties Inc., the real estate subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin Inc., said it has acquired two fully occupied distribution warehouses in the Northpoint Commerce Center in Fullerton, Calif.
The warehouses have 19,400 square feet of leaseable area.
“In the past two years, A&B has acquired seven industrial and warehouse properties, representing nearly 4 million square feet of leasable space,' said Norbert M. Buelsing, president of A&B Properties. 'These acquisitions, generally located in key industrial submarkets of major metropolitan areas, are part of an ongoing strategy to acquire quality logistics-oriented warehouse facilities in supply-constrained markets.'
Honolulu, Hawaii-based Alexander & Baldwin is also the parent of shipping company, Matson Navigation, Matson Integrated Logistics, and Matson Global Distribution Services.
