Aljex names Hirschman president

Aljex names Hirschman president    Tom Heine, chief executive officer of Aljex Software, said Joe Hirschman has been named president of the Middlesex, N.J-based provider of hosted software solutions for freight brokers, carriers and other transportation companies.
   Hirschman was vice president operations and has been with the company since its inception in 1996.
   'Joe has been my right hand and more,' Heine said. 'He will still oversee our day-to-day operations, but now he takes on a more strategic role in the growth of Aljex.'
   At the same time, Heine said Robyn Freeman, previously director of sales, has been named vice president of sales. Heine explained the promotions of Hirschman and Freeman will enable him as CEO to devote more time to Aljex's long-term development.
