ALTA aligns with AvGroup

ALTA aligns with AvGroup The Latin American Air Transport Association said Tuesday it has strengthened its ongoing business alliance with AvGroup, the parent of Aviation Management Services, to provide educational information on the airline industry for Latin America and the Caribbean.
   The association said ALTA and AvGroup would collaborate in several areas, including conference marketing, database management, management efficiencies and other industry issues. Each group puts on an annual conference, and the two entities will participate in each event.
   'We look forward to an even closer relationship with ALTA as a result of formalizing our business relationship,' said Bob Booth, AvGroup chairman. 'We have built our relationship over the years and feel grateful for the opportunities we have had to contribute to both the growth of ALTA and of that of the airline and aviation industry in the region.'
   AvGroup is a full-service consultancy firm for the airline and aviation services industry. Both ALTA and AvGroup are based in Miami.
