ALTA opens registration for suppliers meeting The Latin America and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) has opened registration for its annual airline suppliers meeting scheduled for April 27-30 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
   The conference, also known by the Spanish acronym CCMA, will be held at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and Convention Center in Puerto Vallarta.
   'This year's conference agenda is designed to facilitate discussions on issues affecting the air transport industry both in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as on a global scale,' said ALTA director of strategic development and CCMA coordinator Gustavo Di Cio. 'More than 30 airlines from the region have been invited to participate, as well as carriers from outside the region. Noted speakers will include airline purchasing directors who will address the hundreds of attending suppliers on how to increase and improve business.'
