Altimore joins shipper’s association

Altimore joins shipper’s association    United States Shippers Association (USSA), a group that includes many leading chemical companies, said Beverly Altimore has joined its staff as project director.
   Altimore spent the last 12 years as assistant vice president of Gulf sales for Yang Ming (America). Prior to that she was assistant vice president at Strachan Shipping.
   Altimore replaces John Chinn, is retiring. Chinn was president of USSA from 1995 until 2000 when he became executive director in 2000. He took the title of project director in 2005.
   Also retiring from USSA in 2011 is George Avery. Helping form USSA in 1985, he was the first president until 1995, then served as a consultant from 1998 to 2010.
