American Airlines Cargo active on Unisys’ freight portal    American Airlines Cargo is now live and accepting bookings through Unisys Corp.’s electronic booking and shipment management service Cargo Portal Services (CPS).
   “Going live on CPS signifies an important milestone in the evolution of our e-commerce strategy,” said Dave Brooks, president of American Airlines Cargo. “Our goal has been to provide online booking solutions that address the specific needs of each customer segment, and we are now pleased to offer our customers three channels for online cargo bookings. We’re equally pleased that the forwarding industry has been vocally supportive of our decision to be available on CPS.”
   CPS offers transportation services from more than 430 cities in more than 117 countries through the global cargo networks of Air Canada, American Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Continental Airlines, KLM, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines.
