American’s freight volumes up 1.8% in May
American Airlines flew 190.2 million system cargo ton-miles (international and domestic) in May, a 1.8 percent rise compared to the 186.9 million system cargo ton-miles carried in the same month last year.
For the year to date, American’s system cargo ton-miles are down 2.2 percent to 893.4 million system cargo ton-miles from 913.3 million system cargo ton-miles after five months in 2005.
