Americas/Europe loop switches to Dunkirk
A CMA CGM-operated Americas/North Europe service will divert calls at the Port of Le Havre to the Port of Dunkirk due to strikes in Le Havre, according to a customer notice last week from Hapag-Lloyd, which is a slot buyer on the service.
The notice is effective Jan. 12. According to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data, the normal rotation of the service (which CMA CGM calls ECS and Hapag-Lloyd calls SW3) is Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Le Havre, Kingston, Cartagena, Santo Tomas de Castillo, Puerto Cortes, Puerto Limon, Kingston and Rotterdam. Aside from Hapag-Lloyd, Hamburg S'd and CSAV are slot buyers on the service.
