Carriers of the Americas Pacific Service said they will increase
northbound and southbound bunker surcharges, effective Jan. 1.
The increases will be $45 per 20-foot container and $90 per 40-footer. The
new bunker surcharge rates will be $122 per TEU and $205 per FEU.
AMPAC serves the west coasts of North America, South America, Mexico and
Central America. Member lines are Columbus Line, Maruba, TMM Lines and TMG.
