Amerijet opens new station

Amerijet opens new station Amerijet International has opened a new international export air freight station at 1263 Utica Avenue in Brooklyn.
   The 2,000-square-foot station is Amerijet’s second in the region, as the company has operated out of JFK International since 1989.
   Amerijet provides scheduled, all-cargo transportation between the U.S. Northeast and the Caribbean-Latin American region, as well as the rest of the world.
   New York Regional Manager Rich Hernandez said the new station would be more convenient for many customers who “ship primarily personal goods to friends and family in their native countries.”
   He said the company will provide twice-a-day transfer from Utica Avenue to the regional facility at JFK, and will also offer local pickup and delivery services or arrange inbound transfers if requested.
