ANL joins CMA CGM’s Australasia/U.S. East Coast/Europe pendulum

Australia’s ANL Container Lines said today it will take space on French parent company CMA CGM’s fortnightly Australasia/U.S. East Coast/Europe Panama Pendulum service.

ANL will join the service when the vessel “CMA CGM La Tour” calls Tilbury in the United Kingdom March 31. CMA CGM provides three of the six ships averaging about 2,200 TEUs with CP Ships/Hapag-Lloyd contributing two vessels and Marfret one ship.

The full port rotation of the Panama Pendulum is: Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Savannah, Philadelphia, Tilbury, Rotterdam, Dunkirk, Le Havre, New York, Norfolk, Savannah and back to Brisbane.

“ANL’s involvement in this trade is an exciting development for the company. It continues our expansion into the U.S. market with a direct service to/from Australasia and further enhances our ability to offer a global coverage to our loyal customers,” said John Lines, ANL’s chief executive officer.
