ANS feeds AtlasÆ exports to South America    Airline Network Services and Atlas Air have joined to launch export air shipments from the U.S. West Coast to South American markets.

   Atlas Air operates the world’s largest Boeing 747 freighter fleet. General service agent ANS, based in New York, will provide service for South American-bound air cargo from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, and truck it to Miami for airlift to Lima, Santiago, Sao Paolo, among other destinations.
   ANS's association with Atlas Air enables it to accommodate high-volume traffic, and is expected to help the company meet the goal to double its cargo volume in 2011, said Jens Tubbesing, ANS's chief executive officer, in a statement.
