The GALEX service is a weekly joint service with CMA CGM, Contship Containerlines and Samudera Shipping Line. Norasia Container Lines also takes space on the service.
A spokesman for APL said “we can better and more cost effectively meet the needs of our customers through adjustments to our current WAX and REX services.”
APL recently added two new vessels, APL Arabia and APL Egypt to the WAX service.
