APL Logistics appoints South Asia executive
Siddharth Adya has been appointed managing director of APL Logistics South Asia.
Previously director of business development for the South Asia region, Adya will relocate from Singapore to Mumbai, India, where he will be responsible for leading logistics activities throughout India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He’ll also work alongside the IndiaLinx management team on the continued development of APL Logistics' presence within India's rail freight network and lead collaboration with the liner business, APL, to further integrate supply chain services for shared customers.
Adya joined NOL Group in 2001 as part of the company's corporate market research division. He then moved to roles in departments including strategic planning, APL Logistics regional marketing and APL South Asia business development. Prior to NOL, Adya worked in both banking and consulting.
