APL Logistics opens consolidation center in Vietnam

The Singapore-based transportation and logistics company said the new consolidation center in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam is its largest single-roof container freight station (CFS) within its Southeast Asia CFS network.

   APL Logistics has opened a new consolidation center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, strategically located near major sea and airports around the city.
   The new facility, which is the company’s largest single-roof container freight station (CFS) within its Southeast Asia CFS network, features over 500,000 square feet of bonded/CFS warehouse space, 80,000 square feet of secured parking space, and 170 loading and receiving bays.
   APL Logistics now operates six facilities in Vietnam that provide supply chain and logistics solutions.
   “Our latest facility will expand our capability to serve customers who are sourcing from Vietnam’s fast growing manufacturing base,” APL Logistics Head for Southeast Asia Komol Roongruangyot said in a statement. “It also strengthens our position within Vietnam and South East Asia as the go-to supply chain specialist for automotive, retail, consumer and industrial customers who want to leverage on global sourcing.”
