APL transported 167,000 FEUs during the period, up from 147,800 FEUs in the same period last year. At the same time, APL's average revenue per FEU dropped to $2,559 from $2,912 a year ago.
For the year to date, APL's volumes are up 7 percent to 1.85 million FEUs from 1.73 million FEUs. Average revenue per FEU for the year has dropped 7 percent to $2,644 from $2,842.
