The CFS will be located in Vallarpadam, a port near Kochi with deep water that is expected to become a major gateway for South Asia.
The project involves the construction of an 18-acre facility with capacity to handle 100,000 TEUs a year. The CFS is scheduled to open in 2013.
APMT Inland Services already operates seven CFS locations in South Asia with a total of 3.3 million square feet.
