Aramex starts China-to-Europe sea-air service
Dubai-based freight logistics services company Aramex has started a sea-air route from China into Europe.
For the service, Aramex said it will use Vancouver as a transit hub to avoid congestion in other cities. The company has also secured ocean capacity from China as well as guaranteed air freight slots from Canada into the United Kingdom, Netherlands and France.
Aramex noted that the sea-air service takes just 18 days, is appropriate for all products, and can meet increased demand, while at the same time maintaining the balance between cost and time.
“Customers currently struggling to ship their freight out of China can rely on us to deliver an efficient solution,” said Jim Armour, U.K. managing director for Aramex, in a statement.
