ARGENTINE CARRIER MARUBA ADDS SERVICE TO U.K., EUROPE    Maruba s.c.a., an ocean carrier based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, said it has added a new container service from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay to northern Europe and the United Kingdom.
   The service adds weekly calls at Felixstowe, Rotterdam and Hamburg to Maruba’s prior container route from the East Coast of South America to the Mediterranean. Other ports of call include Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Itajai, Santos, Vitoria, Salvador, Tenerife and Las Palmas.
   The Argentine carrier offers 20-foot, 40-foot, refrigerated, dry van and open top containers, as well as bulk services.
   Concurrent with the new service, Maruba appointed Fred.Olsen BV/Fred.Olsen Agencies Ltd. as its shipping agent in the Netherlands. Fred.Olsen Agencies Ltd. has been the carrier’s agent in the United Kingdom.
