Argix Direct moves to larger N.J. logistics facility
Argix Direct, a logistics service provider that specializes in retail logistics, is moving to a larger store delivery facility in Ridgefield, N.J. The 122,000 square-foot “store delivery terminal” replaces a smaller operation in North Bergen, N.J.
The bigger facility will allow deliveries to retail stores in the Northeast. It has the capacity to receive, process, and dispatch 15 million cartons a year using 1,300 feet of automated conveyor systems.
“The opening of this facility prepares Argix Direct for additional internationally and domestically sourced merchandise which will enter the Argix Direct network through its new Southgate, Calif. retail sort center, opening in January 2004,” the company said.
Argix Direct delivers over 32 million cartons a year to retailers.
