ARL acquires Profleet Transportation and Logistics

ARL acquires Profleet Transportation and Logistics    American Road Line said Monday it acquired Profleet Transportation and Logistics, a large-partial less-than-truckload carrier with 100 power units and locations in Kansas City, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
   ARL, a subsidiary of ARL Network, is an agent-based national transportation company with 400 power units located in 40 terminals throughout the United States. ARL Network, also Pittsburgh-based, provides transportation and logistics through the operation of six transportation entities and 500 power units spread across 45 terminal locations throughout the United States.
   The new entity will operate as Pro Fleet ARL.
   “ARL has great strength in the intermodal drayage market and this deal gives us three key locations to provide service to our existing client    base,” said Ronald K. Faherty, ARL president. “All three areas were high on our list of priorities to establish service in.”
