ARMSTRONG OFFERS NEW LOGISTICS WEB GUIDE
Armstrong & Associates, based in Stoughton, Wis., has announced publication of “Who’s Who in Logistics Websites?” The guidebook, over 300 pages long, profiles more than 130 companies with Web sites, sub-dividing them as “active managers,” “facilitators,” and “systems,” as well as “real or start-up classifications.”
“Logistic Web sites have proliferated at a mind-numbing rate,” said Evan Armstrong, vice president of Armstrong & Associates. “Some are good business models with experienced logisticians behind them. These ‘A’ sites will stay in the race. Other sites, lacking substance, face much tougher survival prospects.”
The guide costs $195 for a hard copy, or $495 for a hard copy and CD. Armstrong & Associates, a logistics management consulting firm, publishes other well-known industry compendiums, such as “Who’s Who in Logistics?” and “Armstrong’s Guide to Third Party Logistics Service Providers.” The company’s Web site is http://www.digitalwork.com .
