Arzoon, AquiTec offer management software for grocery sector
Arzoon Inc., a provider of integrated transportation and logistics software, and AquiTec International, a provider of supply and demand chain execution software, have formed an alliance to offer supply chain management software to the grocery industry.
The new partnership will focus initially on integrating Arzoon’s Transportation and Logistics Management Solution with AquiTec’s Warehouse, Yard Order and Procurement Management systems.
The resulting software will add visibility to inbound and outbound shipments for grocery retailers.
“Since 35 percent of logistics costs are associated with transportation, grocery distributors will be empowered to better manage their days-on-hand inventory, and reduce out-of-stocks and unsalables,” Arzoon said in a statement.
