AS launches trade-focused Adam Smith Project

American Shipper earlier this week launched the Adam Smith Project, a new weekly digital newsletter that will take a deep analytical look at the current and future regulatory landscape and technology’s impact on global trade.

Earlier this week, American Shipper launched an ambitious new initiative aimed at uniting the import/export community under a common goal: to reject rising protectionism globally through deeply reported analysis of trade, regulatory, and technology issues.
This new endeavor, which we have dubbed the Adam Smith Project, is intended to bolster the case that trade is an ultimate force for good in a world where that very idea is under intense scrutiny. The Adam Smith Project will be the place for trade professionals to join a community that fosters honest discussion about the future of trade, and more importantly, arms that community with the tools to take these important messages high up in their organizations.
Watch for a weekly newsletter that will be jam-packed with in-depth and impactful features, and check out the new Adam Smith Project homepage for regular daily updates. We’ll have original content from our highly experienced editorial team, primary data from our research division, and expert commentary from handpicked contributors.

We hope to see you join this exciting project, and welcome any feedback and story ideas you may have.

Sincerely,
Eric Johnson
