ATC Logistics & Electronics expands in Mexico
ATC Logistics & Electronics has announced expansion into Mexico to offer additional repair and kitting & packaging services for both current and new customers. The facility, located in the city of Matamoras near Brownsville, Texas, will initially utilize 56,000 square feet, and has the potential to expand to 200,000 square feet.
The company said the expansion gives it the ability to offer its clients a lower cost repair and kitting & packaging alternative for those with less time-sensitive needs or longer lead times.
The facility in Mexico will ultimately employ 130 team members.
The company is a subsidiary of Downers Grove, Il-based ATC Technology Corporation, which provides comprehensive engineered solutions for logistics and refurbishment services to the consumer electronics industries and the light and medium/heavy-duty vehicle service parts markets.
