Atlas Air will provide aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance for Dragonair, which will use to aircraft to beef up its Hong Kong/Asia cargo service.
Dragonair serves 26 destinations across Asia. China National Aviation Co. Ltd., Citic Pacific Ltd. and Cathay Pacific own interests in the regional airline.
Golden, Colo.-based Atlas acquired three B747-300 aircraft under long-term lease earlier this month. The planes are being converted from combis to full freighter configuration by Boeing Airplane Services.
