ATLAS SOUND PICKS IBS FOR REAL-TIME DATA    Atlas Sound, a division of Mitek Corp. that makes products for the broadcast, music and security industries, has contracted with Integrated Barcoding Systems, a network integrator based in Ann Arbor, Mich., for a real-time data collection system.
   Atlas Sound had relied on a manual system to control inventory at its 273,000-square-foot manufacturing headquarters in Ennis, Texas. Three full-time employees entered data for all transactions in the warehouse.
   IBS has provided Atlas with a fully automated collection solution using Intermec Trakker 2425 hand-held computers and QuikTrac, a screen integration tool from IBS. The new system has improved inventory accuracy by 30 percent, and requires only two staffers.
