Australia/Asia group adds string    The AAUS group of APL, Hamburg S'd, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Maersk Line, said it will upgrade its two-loop system between North East Asia and the East Coast of Australia in order to cover peak season southbound volumes.
   The peak season string will operate with five vessels with an average effective capacity of 2,400 TEUs per week, of which Hamburg S'd will provide two vessels and APL, Hapag-Lloyd and Hyundai Merchant Marine one vessel each. Maersk Line will chartering slots from the AAUS Group.
   The rotation of the peak season string is Shanghai (Waigaoqiao), Yantian, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Shanghai (Waigaoqiao).
   The rotation for the northern loop is Yokohama, Osaka, Pusan, Qingdao, Shanghai (Yangshan), Ningbo, Sydney, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Yokohama.
   The rotation for the southern loop is Kaohsiung, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Kaohsiung.
