Austrian logistics firm’s foray into India successful so far

Austrian logistics firmÆs foray into India successful so far Vienna-based logistics provider cargo-partner said Monday that the subsidiary it opened in India earlier this year has succeeded beyond expectations.
   cargo-partner India has opened 16 offices since entering India at the beginning of the year, more then officials had planned.
   'Opportunities and the pace of economic growth on this huge market are even more impressive than expected,' said Stefan Krauter, cargo-partner chief executive officer. 'Our presence in India is strongly linked to our strategic goal of becoming one of the internationally leading providers of air and sea freight services serving continental Europe and Greater China.”
   Krauter said he expects to generate between from one-third to half of the company’s sales in India with services to and from Europe.
   The company's India offices are in Kolkata, Haldia, Hyderabad, Delhi, Ludhiana, Panipat, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiripur, Tuticorin, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Mumbai, Nava Sheva and Pune.
