The freight transportation company Averitt Express said Monday it’s offering expanded electronic billing options, with customers now able to receive invoices via email.
“The input we get from our customers is invaluable as we continue to find ways to improve our service and provide them with value-added benefits,” said Phil Pierce, Averitt’s executive vice president of sales, in a statement. “Having invoices sent directly to their email inbox was something many of our customers expressed an interest in.”
In addition, Averitt customers can also view current invoices online as they are updated in real time; search for invoices by pickup date, PRO number, bill of lading number, purchase order number or invoice date; and access or email related shipping documents like delivery receipts, bills of lading, load confirmation and expedited contracts. – Eric Johnson
