The new center replaces a leased facility, provides 5,400 square feet of office space, 34,800 square feet for operations and dock area, all on a 19-acre lot.
Averitt has 75 employees and 32 tractors based at the site. The company has four other service centers in Florida, in Jacksonville, Miami, Fort Myers and Orlando.
The Cookesville, Tenn.-based company provides expedited, truckload, less-than-truckload, international, dedicated and logistics services.
