Avramovich joins KCS from DHL
Kansas City Southern, parent company of Kansas City Southern Railway Co., has appointed Daniel W. Avramovich to the newly created position of executive vice president sales and marketing.
Avramovich was DHL Exel Supply Chain’s president of network services, Americas. He will start his new role at KCS Monday reporting directly to Art Shoener, KCS’ executive vice president and chief operating officer as well as president and chief executive officer of KCSR.
KCS said it has created the new position to “coordinate the company’s sales and marketing efforts as KCS builds seamless service between the United States and Mexico.
