Axida develops new home delivery software

   Axida, multi-channel sales order and fulfillment service provider that operates in the United Kingdom and United States, has launched a new version of its HDi application that manages complex home deliveries where the products or services require customers to be present at the time of delivery.
  The new version, called HDi SME, aims to develop an end-to-end channel that tracks products from order capture to completion. The framework is built on an industry standard for many major U.K. retailers and third party logistics providers. HDi SME allows for easier integration by smaller companies that need only a single configuration of the service.
   Axida said the new version also offers customers enhanced security features and reliability improvements. These benefits are enhanced by support of Microsoft Azure, which makes the software more compatible with other business operations.
   “Ultimately it puts them on a level playing field with the larger companies which are established users of HDi,” said Len Robinson, director of Axida. “We can implement HDi SME in smaller organizations quickly and reliably without having to make technical infrastructure modifications. The scalable nature of Microsoft Azure makes HDi SME cost effective, so it makes economic sense for companies to utilize it.”
